Bending is the use of pressure to force the material to produce plastic deformation, so as to form a certain angle and curvature of the shape of a sheet metal stamping process. Commonly used bending including V-shaped bending, Z-shaped bending and reverse folding and flattening.
In general, there are two methods of sheet metal bending: one method is die bending, for more complex structure, smaller volume, high-volume processing of sheet metal structure; for processing a larger amount, the size is not too large structural parts (general situation for the 300X300), the processor is generally considered to open the stamping die processing. Die bending mold is installed in the press.
Another is the bending machine bending (free bending), for processing the structure of the larger size or yield is not too large sheet metal structure. The mold for bending machine bending is naturally installed on the bending machine.
These two types of bending have their own principles, characteristics and applicability.
