Sheet metal processing is to obtain the desired appearance by processing metal sheets, which mainly involves the processing of sheet metal chassis, sheet metal server cabinets, and the processing of various mechanical internal structures and chassis sheet metal parts. There are many devices in life that are processed in this way, such as number collection machines and ATMs in the banking industry, common product vending machines on the streets, and main chassis of computers and monitors, etc. are made of sheet metal processing. At the same time, in order to consider the practicality of the product, the plates used in general sheet metal processing mainly include the following categories:
1. Ordinary cold rolled steel plate (SPCC)
Ordinary cold-rolled steel plates are steel castings that are continuously cold-rolled through a cold rolling mill into thick steel plates, pipes or sheets with a specified wall thickness. The surface is not protected and is easily oxidized and corroded, so spraying and electroplating processes are required before use. Wait for the security protection to be resolved.
2. Galvanized steel plate
One is electro-galvanized steel plate (SECC). Thick steel plate is made into electro-galvanized steel plate through degreasing, pickling, passivation, electroplating and various post-treatment processes. It is processable and has excellent corrosion resistance. and Art Deco exteriors. Electro-galvanized steel sheets are widely used in computer sheet metal chassis processing.
The other is hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (SGCC). Hot-dip galvanized coil steel refers to the processing of semi-finished products after hot-rolling, pickling, passivation or cold rolling. Through cleaning and quenching, it penetrates into the molten steel at an ambient temperature of about 460°C. In the zinc tank, the steel plate is coated with zinc layer, and then it is smoothed by aging treatment and chemical processing. SGCC materials are harder than SECC materials, have poorer plasticity (to prevent deep drawing design), thicker zinc layers, and poorer arc welding capabilities.
3. Stainless steel
Stainless steel plates have very good physical properties. Stainless steel with different compositions can achieve different properties, so it is widely used in the field of sheet metal processing.
