All kinds of tools and products used in our daily production and life, from the base of machine tools and machine shells to a small embryonic head screw, button and the shell of various household appliances, all have a close relationship with the mold.
The shape of the mold determines the shape of these products, and the processing quality and precision of the mold also determines the quality of these products. Because of the different materials, appearance, specifications and uses of various products, molds are divided into casting molds, forging molds, die-casting molds, stamping molds, and injection molds.
General definition of mold: In industrial production, the parts or products made of metal or non-metal materials by pressure using various presses and special tools mounted on the presses are commonly known as molds.
A set of stamping die is made up of many parts, the quality of the parts directly affects the quality of the stamping die, and the final quality of the parts is guaranteed by the finishing process, so it is important to control the finishing process. In most of the domestic mold manufacturing enterprises, the finishing methods are generally grinding, electric machining and clamping treatment. In this stage to control the part deformation, internal stress, shape tolerance and dimensional accuracy and many other technical parameters, in the specific production practice, the operation is more difficult.
Mold parts processing, according to the different appearance and shape of the parts, the parts can be roughly divided into three categories: plate, shaped parts and shaft, the common process is roughly: rough machining, heat treatment, finishing grinding, electrical processing, clamping (surface treatment), assembly processing.
